KRKA WATERFALLS – FROM 69 €

UNIQUE DAY TOURS

KRKA WATERFALLS & WINE TASTING

Krka Waterfalls is year by year the most visited park in Croatia, and with good reason. It is probably the most visited and impressive must-see location in Dalmatia. The unique Krka Park really is a small natural paradise which will leave you both breathless, and giddy with excitement. As it really is popular, you’ll find quite a few tours in Split that do this tour. Here we’ll give you an overview of things to miss when looking for this tour, and what to look for.

First things first, a lot of agencies offer just transfers. You’ll see incredibly low prices all over the city, and that is because you’re only paying for the transfer. Always look for whats included in the price. Just the park tickets are around 200 kuna or 26€ per person. So even when you think you’re saving, you’ll have to pay more later. The other important thing is when the tours go and with what. The best time to visit Krka Waterfalls is early morning, as there are fewer people there at the time. There are several options regarding transfer as well; cars, vans, minibusses and large buses. If you want the pay a bit less, we suggest going on tours that go with buses. If you’d like more private sort of thing, go with vans. On those tours there is a maximum of 8 people.

If you’d like authentic tours or small group tours, we recommend going on a tour with wine tasting. There are a few agencies in Split that do them, and Croatia Dream does them as well. That tour is with a small group, and in addition to the wine tasting, visits Šibenik as well. It includes a guide, transfers with a brand new van, entry tickets, wine tasting, and refreshments. Check out the TripAdvisor for this tour, just to give you a bit of a better overview.

  1. Best day of my life

We can only recommend all guide trips with Petar. He is a very outgoing person who makes your trip very enjoyable and unforgettable . He is well organized, and knows exactly how to meet each needs.
He is always there for you to answer questions or help you out when needed.
We took the tour with him to Krka. Although the weather was not so good, Petar knew exactly how to make this day sunny with his charm and just his character.
    Thanks Petar.

  2. Absolutely the best!!!!

We did a day trop to Kirka and it was fantastic. First of all I’ll like to say the price is a bargain. Normally for the same price at any other agency you would only get the transfer back and forth from Krka. With dream we were taken to 2 small towns before Kirka, krka national park (park ticket was included), free boat, another town and also some wine tasting as well. It was so good to see the area around Krka as well. To visit little towns and be told about the history of them.our tour guide Peta was super funny and informative. We got a little tour around each place then we got some free time to do our own thing as well. He also introduced us to classical and pop croatian music. Its so good to have a tour guide who loves his country abd culture and loves showing it off.

  3. “Great guy and good time”

Based on previous tripadvisor recommendations, we had Petar do our airport transfers and host us for a Krka/Wine tasting trip. During the course of our three trips with him I feel we became friends, not just customers. Petar is very funny with a laugh all the time. Our time with him was really good.

I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

  4. Awesome

We just returned from a Krka tour with Dragan. It was the most fun day we have had in Split during a week long trip. He was so informative during our ride from Split to Sebenik and then to Krka. He knew so much about the history of the region and Croatia. Then, after Krka, we went for a wine tasting that was informative and even more fun!!! He had our whole group laughing and singing!!!! Could not have asked for a better day!!!

  5. Unforgettable!

Don’t look any further then Croatia Dream, when booking for Krka! The girl in the office was quite frank with us,told u that we could find a cheaper tour, but if we wanted a really good time to trust their guide Dragan to make it so. An she was absolutely right! The tour was amazing, the waterfalls beautiful (you can swim in them!), an best of all the wine spectacular! Dragan really makes it worth it, the whole package is something unforgettable

  6. I mean… the girl at the front desk told us her 2 fave things to do were krka waterfalls and rafting. we went with krka and were not disappointed! The price is a bith higher then other places, but for that you get to vist two additional towns, and have the wine tasting. The wine itself is worth more than half the price!

  7. A really enjoyable day out, with lots learnt and lots seen.

We had brilliant service at Croatia Dream. The young lady in the office was always enthusiastic and keen to share her knowledge and help us negotiate our way through the maze of choices. Dragan, who took us out to Krka, was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. His professionalism, energy and passion for his work was reassuring. We arrived at Krka via the attractive town of Sibenik where we were able to lose ourselves among its winding stone architectures. Krka was certainly the main attraction of the day with its breath-taking views and opportunity to walk in natural surroundings at their best. The wine tasting at the end of the day with a leading wine producer was a great touch that bonded the small group and finished the day in great spirits.

  8. Probably the best day out of our 12 day Croatia holiday- All thanks to Croatia Dream!

This trip was, by far, the most enjoyable day we’ve had in Croatia. Our guide, Dragon, was very kind, knowledgeable, entertaining and welcoming. He kept us entertained the whole day giving us continuous commentary about Croatia’s history, details of places we were driving through and other food and beverage recommendations.

We got seamless entry into the Krka national park, which was BEAUTIFUL, and had sufficient time to spend on our own at this park. We then headed to a cute little family run winery where we tasted 5 unique wines. After a bit (or a lot 😉 ) of wine, we headed back to split with smiles on all our faces.

Croatia Dream arranged it all perfectly and made sure we had a fabulous day. The minivan was neat, clean and comfortable. We were a group of 6, which made the entire experience more personal and enjoyable.

If you are thinking or contemplating on which tour company to go with, I would tell you to blindly choose CROATIA DREAM. You will not regret it! You know we didn’t.

  9. Great tour and experience!

Hands down the best tour I have ever been on. You know the usual drill, you get bundled up into a bus at the crack of dawn, the tour guide says a few words and you end up falling asleep the rest of the journey until you get to your destination….this was not the case!! My husband and I originally tried to book an excursion through our hotel but that tour company was fully booked and we ended up going with Croatia Dream. It was slightly pricer compared to what we were looking at originally but it was definitely worth it. Don’t be put off if you see cheaper prices elsewhere – the experience is totally worth it. We went on the tour to Krka National Park via Sibenik. Dragan was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and was able to give us the history of Croatia and other information throughout the time we were travelling between destinations. We were a small group of 8 which made the tour more of a personal experience. Our group was quite chatty and we asked questions that Dragan was happy to answer/discuss.

We had a quick stop in Sibenik which is a small town near the sea. We explored for about an hour and then carried on to Krka National Park. The waterfalls in Krka were breathtakingly beautiful and definitely worth a visiting. I couldn’t stop taking pictures but none of them captured the beauty that you see in person. We had plenty of time here to walk the trail of the park and stop to get food and get into the water if we wanted.

Our last stop was a small family run winery to do some wine tasting. We don’t drink but we both found it interesting and ate our share of cheese and bread and olive oil.

Overall I would 100% recommend Croatia Dream. Dragan was open, honest and informative and works hard to make a great experience for tourists.

  10. Execllent day trip with Dragan

We took a day trip to Krka waterfalls and wine tasting. There was nothing to complain about. Dragan was the best guide ever. I usually don’t like guided tours but this was an exception. Both waterfalls and winery were great and time table was punctual and suited us perfectly. Dragan was also very polite, honest and open. Money well spent!

  11. AWESOME!!! This is a MUST DO EXCURSION

This unique tour is awesome! On our way to the waterfalls, Dragan filled us with amazing information and history about Croatia. The small group made the trip very personable and extremely enjoyable. We loved every second and recommend this to anyone who loves to explore.

  12. CUSTOMIZED TOUR

We just walked past Croatia Dream during our first day in Split and oh boy are we glad we did! As we were a big group we were having some trouble arranging tours we wanted online. Most places offer bus transfers and we wanted something a bit more private. While these guys usually go on tour with normal 8 people vans, the guy and girl working there made a call and arranged for us to go on a minibus alone to Krka. We had a guide with us, Kreso??, who talked a bit about the history of Croatia on the fay to Krka and answered all of our questions. We opted out of the wine tasting as we wanted to spend as much time as possible swimming underneath the falls, so after the falls we went straight to Šibenik for some sightseeing and then back to our apartments. They really made us feel welcomed, and we felt that they just wanted us to have a nice time. The girl working there even offered to show us some other agencies that migh help us in case their minivan was full. They really committed to us going on the tour 🙂

  13. GREAT TOUR

The apartment where we stayed recommended Croatia Dream in case we wanted to go on some tours. We called them up and arranged for the Krka Waterfalls for the very next day (2 adults and 2 teens – the kids got a discount). The guide picked us up in Stobrec and within an hour and a half we were at the falls. There’s some free time to explore the national park, some time to swim (really refreshing during the heatwave that was in Croatia) and then we were off to the wine tasting. The adults really enjoyed it 😉 but the guide made it fun for our kids as well! We ended the day after a short visit to Šibenik and some panoramic stops along the coastal road. The guide was well informed, and mostly talked during the drive to all those places so we always had time for ourselves as well. This is a great way to spendd the day somewhere near Split.

  14. Krka waterfalls w/ wine

My wife and I went on a private tour of the Krka waterfalls with Dragan. He pretty much gave us options for what we wanted, so it is a bit of a choose your own adventure if you book a private tour. He picked us up in front of our hotel in a brand new car. We got to Krka around 9.30 am and after a tour with Dragan he left us t explore for a few hours. The falls are amazing, but even in the early morning there’s a bit of a crowd. After Krka we went to the wine tasting at a tiny village. The wines were great and the stories Dragan told us even better! On our way back we passed through Sibenik, and Dragan gave us a tour of the city. We also had some time to explore Sibenik by ourselves, and we recommend the Saint Nicholas fortress as something you just have to see! A we wanted to visit Trogir as well, Dragan gave us a short tour on the way back to Split. All in all, it was a perfect day out, with the perfect guide. Dragan knew when to leave us alone to explore, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide!
